Hi, I’m Megan ​​— a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

I’ve always been interested in people — how we make sense of things, what shapes our thoughts and emotions, and how we respond to the things that happen in life. That curiosity is what led me into mental health work, and it’s something I still carry into every session.
In therapy, I focus on creating a space that feels relaxed and honest. Opening up to a stranger can be difficult, so my aim is to work at your pace and meet you where you’re at. Therapy is about collaboration: it’s a space to get curious together about patterns, experiences, and practical ways to move forward.
Before qualifying as a CBT therapist, I worked in a range of mental health settings — from supporting care leavers and running peer groups for MIND, to delivering emotional regulation workshops in schools. These experiences helped me to get a better understanding of what different mental health presentations look like, and what kind of support people need.
I use evidence-based CBT approaches, but always adapt sessions to fit your individual needs. I’m especially interested in how our early experiences shape us, and in finding ways to build self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.
Earlier this year, I returned from five months of travel. Having time away gave me a chance to slow down, but also to appreciate what we can take from other cultures’ way of life to support our own mental health here in the west.
While I’m still early on in my career as a therapist, I bring energy, empathy, and a strong foundation in current, evidence-based CBT. I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences, feel more in control, and move toward a life that feels meaningful to them.
